Cannes is under 22 kilometres; Grasse, the world capital of perfume, is next door; Mandelieu-La-Napoule, the town of mimosa, completes the coastal trio.
For days outdoors, Lac de Saint-Cassien is a must for water sports and swimming, and the Gorges du Loup offer walks between cliffs and turquoise water. The local markets and the olive oil mills of the Grasse hinterland fill a week nicely, and five golf courses are close by.
